Recently I purchased a musical instrument off craigslist. It was posted for $300.00 and I was the first to call getting it for $270.00. I spent almost a day cleaning it and tweaking it. I put it on ebay for $1500.00 and back on craigslist for $1200.00 cash sale only. 4 days later I get a local call, I answered and an automated voice said you have a text to voice message. To receive you message press 1. I did and this jerk says” I know you didn’t pay but $300.00 for the item and I will come get it today and give you $400.00 total”. I’m thinking : listen to this dimwit. I called him back and said “sure come on and get it, you’re the first that’s called in 3 days”. While he’s on the way I cleared the vehicles out of the yard, put on my hillbilly hat and overalls. When he arrived I had a few questions for him. He refused to answer the direct questions and seemed to come down with lock jaw and just beat around the bush. Had he answered my questions I would have been much nicer to him. I don’t like to be insulted directly or indirectly which this jerk did in a high fashion. A few days later the piece sold for $1500.00 !
