Here’s a tip for you guys out there trying to find stuff for cheap or free. Whenever you go to a garage sale that has A LOT of stuff, odds are they won’t sell it all. More often than not, people just donate the remainder to Goodwill…this is where we come in.
Ask them what they’re doing with the things they don’t sell. If they say they’re donating them, offer to pick them up for free! People usually go for this because it means they don’t have to haul it away. Also, it’s an easy load for you because it’s already gathered in their garage!
I made business cards for this very thing just so it sticks in peoples minds a little bit more. Good luck and I hope this helps you get some freebies! .
